Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for lawful and responsible use of TASVPN

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of TASVPN. TASVPN may be used for lawful personal internet privacy, security and connectivity purposes.

2. Permitted Use

  • Lawful personal VPN use
  • P2P and BitTorrent traffic when used lawfully
  • Unlimited bandwidth on current consumer subscriptions, subject to this AUP

3. Prohibited Use

  • Unauthorized access to systems or networks
  • Hacking or exploitation without authorization
  • Malware distribution, ransomware or botnet operation
  • Denial-of-service attacks or network attacks
  • Credential theft or phishing
  • Fraud, scams or identity theft
  • Spam or abusive mass messaging
  • Unauthorized network scanning
  • Exploitation or abuse of children, including child sexual abuse material
  • Unlawful threats or harassment
  • Terrorism-related illegal activity
  • Unlawful trafficking, controlled-substance transactions or weapons transactions
  • Copyright infringement
  • Circumvention of TASVPN subscription or device restrictions
  • Attacks against TASVPN infrastructure
  • Unauthorized resale of TASVPN consumer subscriptions
  • Any activity prohibited by applicable law

4. P2P

P2P and BitTorrent traffic are permitted. Users remain responsible for ensuring content they download, upload or distribute is lawful.

5. Bandwidth

Current plans provide unlimited bandwidth without a fixed data cap. Unlimited bandwidth does not permit conduct designed to damage, overload, degrade or disrupt TASVPN infrastructure.

Attempts to circumvent applicable limits may result in devices being revoked or accounts restricted.

7. Abuse Investigation

TASVPN may investigate credible abuse reports using limited information TASVPN lawfully retains. TASVPN does not maintain browsing history, destination-IP history, DNS-query history or traffic-content logs for abuse investigation.

8. Enforcement

Depending on severity, TASVPN may warn, restrict, revoke a device, temporarily suspend or permanently terminate service. Serious security threats, fraud or illegal abuse may result in immediate action.
