TASVPN respects legitimate legal process while protecting customer privacy. TASVPN does not voluntarily provide customer information merely because it is requested.
2. Request Requirements
- Identify the requesting authority
- Identify applicable legal authority
- Identify the information requested
- Specify relevant account/service identifiers
- Specify applicable dates
- Contain required signatures or authorization
- Provide official contact information
3. Review Process
TASVPN will verify the request, review jurisdiction and scope, determine whether there is a legal obligation, challenge where appropriate, and disclose only legally required information that TASVPN actually possesses.
4. Data TASVPN Does Not Maintain
- Browsing histories
- Websites visited
- URL histories
- DNS-query histories
- Destination-IP histories
- VPN traffic contents
5. Emergency Requests
Emergency requests involving imminent risk of serious physical harm will be evaluated according to applicable law.
6. Preservation
Where TASVPN receives a legally valid preservation obligation, relevant information already possessed by TASVPN may be preserved as legally required. A preservation request does not enable TASVPN to recreate historical information that has already been deleted or was never collected.
